Испытуемые были разделены на контрольную (проводили сеанс релаксационной психотерапии) и опытную (сеанс релаксационной психотерапии в сочетании с ароматерапией эфирным маслом чабера садового, концентрация - 1 мг/м3 воздуха) группы. Длительность сеансов - 10, 20 и 30 минут. До и после проведения сеансов испытуемым измеряли систолическое и диастолическое артериальное давление, частоту сердечных сокращений, и определяли: пульсовое артериальное давление, ударный объем сердца, минутный объем крови, общее периферическое сосудистое сопротивление, индекс Робинсона, индекс Кердо, коэффициент экономичности кровообращения. Установлено, что вдыхание эфирного масла чабера садового на фоне психорелаксации при всех длительностях воздействия привело к статистически значимому снижению систолического и пульсового артериального давления у тех испытуемых, которые имели исходно их повышенные значения; а частота сердечных сокращений, индекс Робинсона, коэффициент экономичности кровообращения статистически значимо снизились независимо от исходного уровня систолического артериального давления испытуемых. Таким образом, эфирное масло чабера садового может применяться в комплексе мер для оптимизации функции кровообращения пожилых женщин при всех уровнях артериального давления.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The effect of savory essential oil on the functioning of the cardiovascular system of 353 women aged 60-90 years with different levels of systolic blood pressure was studied. The subjects were divided into a control group (conducted a session of relaxation psychotherapy) and an experimental group (a session of relaxation psychotherapy in combination with aromatherapy with savory essential oil, concentration - 1 mg/ m3 of air). The duration of sessions is 10, 20 and 30 minutes. Before and after the sessions, the subjects were measured systolic and diastolic blood pressure, heart rate, and determined: pulse blood pressure, stroke volume of the heart, cardiac output, total peripheral vascular resistance, Robinson index, Kerdo index, coefficient of efficiency of blood circulation. It was found that inhalation of savory essential oil against the background of psychorelaxation at all exposure durations led to a statistically significant decrease in systolic and pulse blood pressure in those subjects who initially had their elevated values; and heart rate, Robinson index, coefficient of efficiency of blood circulation statistically significantly decreased regardless of the initial level of systolic blood pressure of the subjects.
